About richard gooding...

A passion for capturing the built environment probably started way back in my school days.  My favourite art and technical drawing assignments involved rendering by eye, as accurately as possible, perspectives of buildings and structures with pencil, ruler, compass and the then obligatory eraser.

Fast forward to now and I am fortunate to be working with clients, large and small, across London, the UK and internationally who have the same passion for image making.

My network spans interior designers, architects, construction companies, property developers, hotels, marketing and PR agencies, product designers, publishers and private individuals.

Currently, I shoot with either of two camera systems (digital 35mm and medium format) and my style is driven by individual client requirements but with a bias toward using existing natural light, accented with in-situ lighting. Flash is used sparingly.

My work has been published in numerous UK and international design titles including Homes and Gardens, House and Garden, Elle Decoration, Living Etc, Kitchens Bedrooms and Bathrooms and,  for two concurrent years, the Andrew Martin Design review.

Many of my ongoing assignments are awarded through long established client relationships where consistency of style and continuity of service are important.

Forging new collaborations is equally rewarding and exhilarating so I’m very much looking forward to having a first conversation with you regarding your project and unique image requirements.
